Shields of Velis Vel + Coat of Arms

Each of your creatures has every creature type.

Add Coat of Arms.

Nothing as spetacular as you might think. Coat of Arms says: "Each creature gets +1/+1 for each other creature in play that shares a creature type with it". It doesn’t matter HOW MANY creature types. So, if you have a human soldier and a goblin out, they’ll eacg gain +1/+1 (for each other). If you had a human soldier AND a goblin soldier, they’d already get +1/+1, so playing Shields of Velis Dal would do you no good.

Yeah, but isn’t easy to just go and build a tribal deck using the Coat and dropping Shields altogether for something better?

I’m vague on how this works. If I drop this in my soldier deck, for example, and then there are 5 other soldiers out, each of my guys are +5/+5?
