I’m in that mood for some DC designs. I’ve had this idea floating around the brainpan for a while, so here we go.

2 ∙Aragorn, Armed with Bow and Blade Gondor
Follower
Aid - Discard a Gondor event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
Bearer is an archer, and is strength +1 for each wound on a minion he or she is skirmishing.
Clad in wilderness, wielding hope and strength.

2 ∙Gandalf, Armed with Ancient Light Gandalf
Follower
Resistance +1
Aid - Discard a Gandalf event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
Each time a minion is assigned to skirmish bearer, you may add 2 threats to exert that minion twice.
Embraced in a light impenetrable.

2 ∙Gimli, Armed with Axes Dwarven
Follower
Aid - Discard a Dwarven event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
When you transfer this follower to a companion, reveal X Dwarven possessions in your hand to make bearer strength +X or damage +X until the regroup phase.
Skilled in the craft of engaging many foes and walking away victorious.

2 ∙Legolas, Armed with Elven Agility Elven
Follower
Aid - Discard an Elven event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
While attached to a companion, each time you perform a maneuver or skirmish action, you may exert bearer to take the next action.
With the speed and skill to leave opponents bewildered and helpless.

2 ∙Boromir, Armed with Sword and Horn Gondor
Follower
Strength +1
Aid - Discard a Gondor event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
Skirmish: Exert bearer or discard 2 Free Peoples cards from hand to make bearer strength +1.
The first to bar the Enemy’s way.

2 ∙Frodo, Armed with Compassion and Pity Shire
Follower
Resistance +1
Aid - Discard a Shire event from hand.
Bearer gains fellowship.
Eyes full of care and love, but never of judgment.

2 ∙Merry, Armed with Hobbit-sense Shire
Follower
Resistance +2
Aid - Discard a Shire event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
While attached to a companion, each event you play or discard is a stealth event.
With the knowledge that size does not beget strength.

2 ∙Pippin, Armed with a Stout Spirit Shire
Follower
Vitality +1
Aid - Discard 2 Shire events from hand (or a stealth event).
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
Response: If bearer is about to be overwhelmed, discard this follower to make him or her strength +3.
No weapon is more deadly than the courage to fight in need.

2 ∙Sam, Armed with a Furious Sting Shire
Follower
Aid - Discard a Shire event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
Bearer is strength +1 for each Shire follower you spot.
Blinded by a rage unconquerable.

Fellowship as in the keyword from ages end or just "one of the 9 companions"? Seems ok.

Hmmm 1 threat doesnt seem enough but 2 seems excessive.

Doesnt seem powerful enough you could drop the cost to 1 or even 0.

2 ∙Legolas, Armed with Elven Agility Elven
Follower
Aid - Discard an Elven event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
While attached to a companion, each time you perform a maneuver or skirmish action, you may exert bearer to take the next action.

Again for the benefit cost 2 and an elven event seems excessive.

Ditto above. For a main companion to become a follower so u cant use him in your fellowship this needs to be way better.

2 ∙Frodo, Armed with Compassion and Pity Shire
Follower
Resistance +1
Aid - Discard a Shire event from hand.
Bearer gains fellowship.
Eyes full of care and love, but never of judgment.

Too much effort to make a companion gain fellowship. He could easily cost 1 or 0.

Similar comments to above, the benefit could be better.

Awesome ability but this time youve made the aid way too costly. 2 shire events might be better to keep the bearer alive than discarding them. Chaange to back to 1 like the others.

2 ∙Sam, Armed with a Furious Sting Shire
Follower
Aid - Discard a Shire event from hand.
Bearer must be a fellowship companion.
Bearer is strength +1 for each Shire follower you spot.
Blinded by a rage unconquerable.

LOL this was is fine.

SoP, uniqueness still applies, you can’t use the follower Aragorn and the companion Aragorn at the same time.

I like the aid cost, and it’s a nice card. Although it doesn’t really fit well into a true Fellowship deck, since you wouldn’t have a lot of Gondor events to spare. Very good. I like how you can dump this on Frodo. Too bad this can’t be paired with the Fellowship Aragorn...although then maybe that would be overkill.

Sweet combo with Aragorn. I think the cost is decent, probably well-costed.

Wow, interesting. I don’t know if I’d use him, though. I mean, hand clog to the extreme? Although a huge strength boost to the RB is always nice.

Awesome. Super PATHS...or can you imagine this with Baruk Khazad? Or No Travelers, or Defend it and Hope...

Nice, a good combo with the Frodo-Aragorn fellowship. But it is kinda weak otherwise.

Interesting. I assume you have use for this? Heh, this could be bad with Wariness against it.

Should read "While this follower is attached to a companion..."

WHOA. Good thing you can’t pair this with Great Elf Warrior.

I have a fundamental problem with these cards, which is summarised as follows:

1) I don’t think it makes any sense to use these followers of the fellowship of the ring in decks which use the fellowship of the ring (and I really object to Frodo making any companion gain fellowship) because you should have all 9 companions in such decks - otherwise, what’s the point?

2) All of them tend to have powerful abilities to balance out their limited use. I’d make them more universally usable then bring the effects down accordingly.

3) I think they should be built to work with decks that precisely are not the Fellowship of the Ring like in Rohan or Gondor or the Scouring of the Shire, where the characters played a major role, but not as a combined unit.

The cards from an objective viewpoint are great and finely balanced, but the theme is just not striking the right chord with me at the moment.
