Ok I just won a LOtR blank card on ebay for .99 . Does this card hold any collector value. For those who just play the game, I know this card has no play value what so ever so if you want to just post stupid replies to this than be my guest. For you collectors of the game (and players who value the cards for other than gameplay) what is the collector’s worth of this card.
For those not sure of what I mean by blank cards, It has the actual LOtR back like any other card but the front is just black (in a sense Blank). Anyway back to the topic at hand, does this card have any collector’s worth? I’m sure .99 for this card was worth it (even if to me), just curious as to how you other collectors or player/collectors value this card.
Thanks,
NK
Here is the actual image of the card for those of you curious:

You should use that as your Ring-bearer and hope no one asks any funny questions.

Thanks for the response. I figured I’d have a few people doing this. On a serious note is there any collector’s value to this card? I would assume so if it is the same as the SWCCG blank cards they are well sought after by collectors of the game. Anyway if you don’t have an exact amount for it what class of cards would a hard to find card like this be in? I would doubt as high as Online Promos or Masterwork foil perhaps, but just curious doubt I will trade it for anything (at least at the moment) just curious.
I guess I got a good buy for .99 since hobbit_pizza paid $5.50 for his |

I think there actually is "the void" in this game. It’s where event cards go before they hit the discard pile. Should solve any future Toldea / Dark Approach questions.
Seriously, though? If you sit on it long enough I’m sure you can get a blazing good deal, where blazing = several good rare cards. I think some collectors actually consider it a part of a complete set. For me though it’s just a novelty item so I can’t see myself paying more than what you did.
In short, I doubt it has a (relatively) hard value like the usual cards. You got it for a dollar, an online store is asking for $10, and someone else on eBay is asking for $20. |

from my knowledge they use it to replace missing card sin their binder, or to finish up a binder page of a set. |
