Grima was annoying when he came out just because he made people change the way they did their decks... No Tanked Up companions. But people got around him and I haven’t seen him played in quite a while outside of a firebomb deck that needs to play one or two Isengard conditions (he has lots of vitality and is cheap). |

I’ve noticed the same thing with the lessening usage of Grima...it seems that Bill Ferny is the new hot topic now. |

Why is that? Do you play with dwarves? Rohan? Tanked Aragorn? If you are playing with dwarves, including some maneuver exerting or wounding is an easy way around it. Cards such as Baruk Khazad. Quick as May Be and Slaked Thirsts are great at shutting him down. You will have a bit more trouble with other races, but putting in a dwarf or two and a couple cards to prevent Grima isn’t huge. Once Grima becomes ineffective, people generally stop playing him. |
