Now, I’m fairly certain that certain possessions can be borne by followers, like Elven Bow, which can be borne by an elf, not necessarily a companion. My question is, do these possessions actually affect anything if the follower is transferred to a companion? |

You may be fairly certain, but you’re wrong.
You’ll notice that the followers do not have a race printed on them, so no, even if an follower has a picture of an Elf on it, it’s not an Elf in gameplay terms, and thus cannot bear an Elven Bow.
Besides, possessions must be borne by characters, and followers are not considered characters. |

The rules clearly say that followers cannot bear other cards. |
All cards do what they say. |

Ah, all right. I haven’t taken a good look at the Followers rules...it was just something I thought of. |
