This is a broken combo I like to called Infinite Gandalf. I stumbled across thiscombo about six months ago and anytime anybody asks me to play open this is what I play.
What you need:
Gandalf RB
the one ring AtAR
Merry
Pippin
Smeagol PC
Erland DC
Servant of the Secret Fire
Shire Countryside
A Light in his Mind
Traveled Leader
Here are the steps to how it runs:
1. You need a couple of burdens.
2. Get someone to skirmish.
3. In that skirmish use smeagol to get down to 4 cards.
4. Play SotSF and lose init.
5. Remove a burden with A light in his mind.
6. Heal somebody particularly Erland with Shire Countryside.
7. Exert Erland to put Sotsf into your hand and gain init.
8. Repeat as many times as wanted or til you run out of burdens to remove.
9. In the event you do run out of burdens simply add as many as you need with the ring using the cost and effect rule.
10. Play traveled leader if someone plays Cavern Entrance.
There you have it this combo is not nearly as complicated as AC’s but it is still fun to play.
Cheers,

Yeah, it is a really good combo. I built a deck around it and I have never lost with it yet. Of course, I have not played it for a while. But it is still a blast to play against people .
if you do want to build that deck, you will probably want to change the starting fellowship. I can give you my decklist if you want. I really don’t like using Smeagol, PC at all. I find he is a liability sometimes. |

the only thing to watch out for is saruman’s power, the palantir of orthanc, and initiative based shadows. |
