Site manipulation is key.
For example, In my RBR deck I like having the prancing pony at site one, as I then get mablung out. I will be modifying my deck to include x2 pathfinders so I can get Caras Galadhon out at site 9, as my frodo is frequently overwhelmed there
I have a tournament tomorrow (non-decipher affiliated, with a bunch of friends), I'm hoping those pathfinders will save me from my buddy erik's swarming/wounding issy orc deck. *shudders*
(I'm just sad I won't have my smeagol deck by then ) |

Pharanzar -- just saw your order confirmation, thanks! You can always pay for Express Mail if you need something for the next day, but $13.65 is probably a bit steep for a casual tourney.
Like your sig, by the way -- always interesting to know what everyone's preferred decks are. |

I think it's a shame though, that the initiative and threat mechanics from ROTK block are gone... |
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking. |

im glad they are gone, i thought that initiative and threats were the worst mechanics in the game along with site control and signants. |

Signets were bad, but site control, initiative and threats are all good... you've prolly just lost to them so many times you grew bitter, eh? |

im sorry i didnt mean to sound bitter
acually, ive only lost to 1 threat deck, and it was because of the archery not threats. |

Phazanzar is right - threats were a great idea as well as the site control - as you can see when you see my deck, I loved them and still try to use threats and site control.
The LOTR TCG has many bugs , but the gameplay is growing more and more fascinating, according to my humble opinion, but I miss the good old ROTK game tactics |
