I noticed somthing that could be a little too powerful thing for this culture. Dont make too many more "make an ally participate in skirmishes" abilites because since you dont have to have 9 or less allies, you could easily get 8 allies out now, and 1 more "non-unique" ally and you could have 12 out at a time. With the right pull off, that could be doubling (or more) your fellowship to be "speed bumps." FYI, Thrarin was an ally that you just had to exert him to participate in skirmishes, and he was x-listed for being a "speedbump."

ESGAROTH

(2) Laketown Footsoldier Blue
Companion • Man
Str: 6
Vit: 3
Res: 5
While Laketown Footsoldier is skirmishing a minion of strength equal to his own, he is Damage +1.

MISTY MOUNTAINS

(4) Utter Darkness Black
Event • Maneuver or Regroup
Toil 1
Exhaust your Black orc at an undergound site to exhaust an unbound companion.

I know i used the magic Blue and Black symbols, but i couldn’t stand not to have something. It looked so... baren.

Quote:
(3) Mountain Orc [MM]
Minion • Orc
Strength: 7
Vitality: 1
Site #: 3
When you play Mountain Orc you may spot another [MM] minion to add (2).

Cool, but there is already a card with that title.
Quote:
(2) Lurking Orc [MM]
Minion • Orc
Strength: 5
Vitality: 2
Site #: 3
LURKER
Shadow: Add (1) for each other lurker you can spot (limit once per turn).

Yikes, I’d throw him into an Orc lurker deck. He definitely would need to be culturally enforced.
Quote:
(6) •Mountain Chieftan [MM]
Minion • Orc
Strength: 10
Vitality: 3
Site #: 3
FIERCE
Mountain Chieftan is strength + 1 for each other [MM] minion you can spot.

I’d drop his cost to 5, because he seems a bit overcosted.
Quote:
(3) A Crack in the Wall [MM]
Condition • Support Area
While the fellowship is at an underground site, each [MM] minion is FIERCE.

Neat, but this could get very powerful.
Quote:
(2) Mountain Chains [MM]
Condition • Support Area
Strength - 2
Spot a [MM] minion with strength 6 or greater to transfer this condition from your support area to a dwarf or an unbound hobbit (limit one per bearer).

I don’t think people would use this very much. Perhaps if it was something like this:

(2) Mountain Chains [MM]
Condition • Support Area
Strength - 2
While a Dwarf or Hobbit bears this condition, he or she cannot use special abilities.
Response: If a companion loses a skirmish involving a [MM] minion, transfer this condition from your support area to that companion (limit one per bearer).

I’ll review the rest later when I have more time.

Good job with these cards!

(3) •king of lake town
companion man

strength 5
vitlaity 2
resistance 6

while you can spot a balrog, dragon, or sauron, each companion is strength -1. exert king of lake town to heal a companion tiwce if at a river site.

(4) goblin task master [MM]
minion orc

strength 8
vitality 3
site 4

while at an under ground site skip the archery phase.

Skirmish: while at an underground site, exert goblin task master to wound a hobbit or dwarf. (or make the free peoples player wound a hobbit or dwarf, if not underground.)

(2) hate of men, elves, and dwarves, [MM]

condition
bear must be a [MM] orc.

while fighting a man, elf, or dwarf, bearer is strength +4 and cannot take wounds (except during the archery phase.)
Response: if this condition is about to be discarded spot 5 companions to return this condition to hand instead.

not the best but i am still working on making minions. Smile

What about wizards?! And, isn’t it a little complicated? Maybe a little more explanation would work well.
Oh, and bearer must be a [MM] orc, should go underneath condition.
Like so:

(2) Hate of Men, Elves, and Dwarves [MM]
Condition
bearer must be a [MM] orc

P.S. or you could put a • between condition, and bearer must be a [MM] orc.
