•Can you play a ring-bearer Frodo as a companion without the ring?
•Can you exert one companion twice for Toil abilities? pretty sure you can’t
•Can somebody please explain exactly how Unexpected Visitor works?
Thank you so much! |

1. I think so. Someone correct me, but I’m pretty sure that as long as a companion is an eligible ringbearer, you can play the ring on them. That’s the only restriction, I think. No rule saying you can’t have an ARB and another ringbearer in play.
3. I think that it’s a big downside to the card. If the character survives the skirmish phase, you can get rid of a minion plus lots of twilight. There also might be another card to cover for this downside. |

1: No. Frodo, Frenzied Fighter is the only Frodo that can be played as a non-Ring-bearer.
2: Nope. Ulaire Enquea, Black Threat is the only exception (due to his ability).
3: You play it on your companion. The Shadow player can make a minion (his choice) fight Aragorn, but only 1 minion. Then you can use the regroup ability. |

CG: I don’t have a specific reference, but I have seen it in the rules and the queston has been asked on the Decipher boards before. |

Take a look at page 15 of the Comprehensive Rule Book. There it states under the section titled Ringbearer: "If a character other than Frodo is your Ring-bearer, you cannot play any version of Frodo with the Ring-bearer keyword during the game." |

Yeah... I really enjoy high speed internet. It is great! Download it once and then you should have it for quite a while, especially if sets release at the same rate they have been releasing recently |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |
