I hear ya! Long live War Towers! And Red Wrath!!!

If I haven’t said so already, Gondor rocks for the FPs! They have so many different abilities, and fortifications are a blast. Not only that, but they have the "discard to wound" coupled with Hardy Garrison. All that plus token pumps! All around, they’re a good culture.

Southrons are the best subgroup, mumaks rock, with fierce and sometimes even Damage +1.
Soldier: why'd you do that captain?

John Wayne: Because I hate your guts!!

I agree with the first part, but I still think that Corsairs are the best Raiders, followed closely by Easterlings.

My Favorites in no particular order from the Free People side:
Shire Fellowship block stealthing and hobbit hospital was great and I love the way they can still sneak around and fight now.
Gondor Possibly some of the most consistent and you can build a ton of different decks around them: Rangers, Knights, Noble Leaders, Archery, Defender +, Choke and the list goes on...

And from the Shadow side in a particular order Smile
Moria The original swarm deck. This was so much fun to play with and took practically no skill at all. In addition to swarm, they also had other fun decks like Dark Places, and Cave Troll Beatdown, archery, and weird corruption. All of their decks pretty much required 4x Goblin Armory though, which made them hard to find. Moria was also a huge component in the firebomb deck which was a blast to play.
Wraith They were so versatile after War of the Ring block came out... Threat Nazgul, Morcs, Turbo Corruption, and Forest Nazgul were all really fun to play.
Gollum Ninja Gollum - Hard to play well, but a lot of fun. Plus Gollum makes a great splash minion in a lot of decks, especially anything that requires threats.
Orc IMO they were the second best of the new cultures (the best being Wraith) That was until they x-listed Demoralized.

I think that for the freeps it just so awsome when hobbits go on a killing spree. Smile

The Witch-King is quite awesome. Especially Black Captain.

Ah, yes...what is it? Boromir, Son of Denethor plus There and Back again with Noble Intentions, and then the hobbits all get Hobbit Swords. Of course Sudden Fury, and then if you’re playing Open, Merry, From O’er the Brandywine. I think that adds up to, if you’re bonusing Merry, a 15 strength companion! And that’s before Sudden Fury! So that means you have a hobbit that can actually beat Uruk Vanguard or a similar minion! Shocked

By all means, you’re entitled to your opinion, but why do you think that Southrons are the best?
