A Highlander format Rohan/Nazgul deck
--- end description ---
Well...LotR is over. Which means that its time to start experimenting with other forms of play. Cue highlander, 1 card per deck format, with, I believe, 4 copies of 1 card per side. Which means, you see a lot of recursion and cards that play directly from your draw deck, such as Last Days of My House, Simbelymyrne.
So, here goes!
(33 cards)
Gimli, Bearer of Grudges
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings
Gamling, Defender of the Hornburg
Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien
Eomer, Rohirrim Captain
Hrethel, Rider of Rohan
Aragorn, Driven by Need
Faramir, Son of Denethor
Isildur, Heir of Elendil
Merry, Swordthain
Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow
Faramir’s Bow
Faramir’s Sword
Eowyn’s Sword, Dernhelm’s Blade
Eomer’s spear, Trusty Weapon

Add the popcorn smiley to your sig, help it achieve world domination.
What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"
Spotlight on....Sense of Obligation. |

If I’m not mistaken, I believe that an Highlander deck does not run 4 copies of a card, only one. That is the reason why the X-List does not apply in the format. 4 Saruman, keeper of isengard and 1 savagery to match their numbers OR 4 savagery to match their numbers and 1 saruman, keeper of Isengard would be overpowered, but 1 one each is not so bad.
Anyway, it’s nice to see this decause it’s a challenging deck building format. |
