ok, my friend and i were wandering, when you go through archery, do all the archery wounds go and one charicter or does the shadow player get to spread them out? |

The minion archery is assigned to any fellowship companions by the free people’s player, and the fellowship’s archery is assigned to any minion characters by the shadow player.
Archery special abilities and events must be played before the final archery is counted and placed.
Archery wounds can go on more than one character.
But, if there is more than 1 shadow player, the free people’s player must choose one shadow player. That shadow player must assign fellowship archery wounds to his minions in any way he chooses.
Allies may not be assigned wounds unless they are participating in the skirmish. |

The key concept here is "participating in archery fire."
All allies participate in archery fire (and skirmishes) while the fellowship is at their home site.
As Phazanzar mentioned, there are also some specific cards that can cause allies to participate in archery fire (and skirmishes) -- for example, Support of the Last Homely House and Swan-ship of the Galadhrim.
Note that participating in archery fire does tend to go along with participating in skirmishes, but not always. |
