Turning any Gondor card into a quick strength +2 pump is a cool effect, but I agree that the cost is too high for this to be really playable. I’ll give it a 3.

Too expensive! And it doesn’t fit into any of my Gondor decks, since one of them uses tons of events anyways and the other (Noble Leaders) plays all its cards in the fellowship phase.

Costly and works under certain circumstances, but since there is a lot of Gondor healing in our days i give it a 4.

Yuck! 4 twilight is way too expensive for the ability. The major prob I have with this is that any card you have in hand in the skirmish phase should be a pump which should pump you more than 2.

Conditions and events should be played.

It really just helps turn a second copy of a companion or an unique condition into a pump and thus helps cycle.

Expensive yes but I think the card is quite useful. I think this would work well in a Noble Leaders deck.

First of all it’s an artifact making it hard to get rid of, it gives an extra strength bonus to Elendil or Isildur if one of them is using Narsil, Blade of the Faithful. So that itself is a decent plus.

Then if you’re using Steward’s Legacy, King’s Legacy, Noble Leaders, Heirs of Gondor, all of which are unique, when you have a copy in play you can discard copies that might be clogging your hand for an extra strength boost.

I might run a copy of this in my Noble Leaders deck, if the cost were 2-3 I’d run two copies.

Well one factor of the cost is how difficult it might be the difficulty in discarding an artifact.

It’s interesting to cycle noble leaders out, but nothing more than this. If you dig you can find more suitable options if cycling is the issue.

3 at most for this one.
