Bilbo, Bearer of things burgled
The one ring, such a weight to carry
Merry, in the bloom of health
Pippin, in the bloom of health
Farmer Maggot, hobbit of the marish
Quickbeam, Bregalad
Skinbark, Fladrif
Host of Fangorn
Ent Horde
Treebeard, keeper of the watchwood x2
Huorn x2
Leaflock, Finglas
Make Haste x3
Ent Moot x4
Ent Draught
Enraged x4
Strange Meeting x4
Consorting with wizards
Pallando, far-travelling one
Radagast, tender of beasts
Meneldor, misty mountain eagle
Alatar, final envoy
Once I saw you could start all those companions I wanted to try to build a deck doing it. I figured I’d use Strange Meeting with the followers and the standard enraged’s. Then I thought I’d use the hobbits to exert for ent moot then use make hast to get rid of them for the other companions. If the shadow player discards a minion or removes the twilight it doesn’t really matter because I still get to pick up the hobbit so I can discard him. |

Who do I add? I guess Warmed up a bit would help me in a skirmish and the hobbit would go straight to the discard pile. Would it be better to keep the hobbits and use boomed and trumpeted? |

No. I wouldn’t use it.
Add another ent. That’s for sure. Starting that many companions leaves you no room to breathe if you can’t draw hobbit discarding stuff. Trust me, I run this deck, and it works better without hobbits.
I run Woodland Onod, Huorn, Gandalf, and Treebeard, Enraged Shepherd in mine.

Hmmm may i ask something ? How you can all of those ents to Starting Fellowship. Because....
I think that there is this word "or". Not "and" like in Quikbeam. I have not seen any erratas on these ents/ R&D wasn’t that bad back then. My english is bad and cheating is fun (sometimes) but i just can’t get over this.
+Im sorry to dig this but i have to be 110% sure. |

there was a discussion about this, and the almighty bib declared that it was good. so there was the ents and the hobbits and it was the beginning of the first NEW day.
sorry, that was rambling. it can spot both at the same time. |

They really, really should put an example in the rulebook. Just squint your eyes and tilt your head until it says whatever you want it to say in order for both to qualify.
Quickbeam has been clarified to "or" as well, so he’s now consistent with the rest. |
