Hmm, definitely. I’m on it at the moment, and it mars the first book I have to say. I’m also not a big fan of ’Treebeard’ either. He does a lot of talking in the books. Although, I did notice that in the books, the ents were all ’hey, lets go to war’ whereas in the film, they wouldn’t until they realised how war actually had affected them. Seemed to make more sense that way to me. |

I hated the first half of FOTR. its because of that I have only read the trilogy once. except for the first half of ROTK, parts of which I have read maybe 10 times? |
