I generally checked about once every 2 hours, and a couple times my brothers would be looking at the forums and they’d be like "Hey! Someone started posting spoilers!" so I would run to the computer and post a few.
I think the biggest thing was that there were like 2 times where I would check and there would be like 15 spoilers that no one had posted, and I’d start posting them and no one else jumped in and did some. And one thing that really helped is that I updated my auto-spoiler every time a batch of spoilers was released, so that all the cards that had been already spoiled were removed from the list. That way I could just click on the auto-spoiler and if any images showed up I would know that there was something new.
I definitely didn’t have any type of script that would alert me when there were new spoilers, but if I knew how to make one then I definitely would’ve.

What’s this auto-spoiler thing, and how does it work? |

Check out this link for Gil-Galad:
http://www.decipher.fanhq.com/resources/cardimages/LOTR18012.jpg
Notice the numbers at the end, before the .jpg...18012. "18" is for T&D, and then the next three numbers are the card’s actual number. So...he just had a bunch of <img> tags in an HTML page, and any images that were there would just pop up.
I had an auto-spoiler, but I could never check it often enough. Here’s the first three <img> tags from mine, to give you an idea of how it worked...
Code: <img src="http://www.decipher.fanhq.com/resources/cardimages/LOTR18001.jpg" height=300 width=200>
<img src="http://www.decipher.fanhq.com/resources/cardimages/LOTR18002.jpg" height=300 width=200>

Oh yeah, that’s how it worked. You just keep jacking up the numbers and checking to see if it has an image.
Thanks man. |
