The slots are filled! Time for the team selections! I have written each contestant’s name on a slip of paper, folded it numerous times, put them all in a hat, and shaken it profusely. I will draw the names out, one by one; the first two will be on Team A, the next two, Team B, etc. But now, the moment of truth:
The first name to be drawn is... EL! And the second name... WLC!
elf lvr and WeyounsLastClone, congratulations: you are Team A.
The next name... Akie! And his Team B partner is... FM!
Aragorn, King in Exile and Felipe Musco, congrats: you are Team B.
And the next name... SoP! And his partner... lem0n!
sickofpalantirs and lem0nhead, congrats: you are Team C.
Next name... CG! And his Team D partner is... AC!
CarpeGuitarrem and AnxiousChieftain, congrats: you are Team D.
And the next name... LH! And his partner... AP!

The DC task is this: Your team must make a Denethor and a possession or artifact that states Bearer must be Denethor. You and your partner (via PM) will decide who will make which card; for example, CG could make the Denethor and AC could make the possession.
Since this requires 16 different people to communicate and make DCs, the deadline is quite extensive: Saturday, July 28th.
Once the DCs have been received and I post them, anyone who votes will vote for a team as a whole, but not in their own matchup. For example, one might vote for Team B over Team A. Each vote counts as 1 point. The team in each matchup with the most points will advance to Round 2, and the losing team in each matchup will be eliminated.

That’d be best; the more synergy, the better chance you have at making it to Round 2.
