All right. We’re all going to play through one whole game of LotR. It’s just 2 players, and we can all take turns adding to the story of the game until it ends.

Starting with me.

My starting fellowship is Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms and Radagast, The Brown.

I bid 1 burden and win. I go first. I draw 8 cards and play the first site.

What cards did I draw, and what site did I play? (Answer and then continue the game through the fellowship phase.)
Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Who am I?

You drew 8 copies of The Witch-king, Lord of Angmar.

The tournament judge just happens to be standing behind you as you draw your hand and stops you immediately after. Not only are you playing with an illegal deck full of too many Witch-kings, but it is a Standard Format tourney.

You are DQ’d and banned from any future organized play for two years.

You drew:

Narsil, Forged by Telchar
Might of Numenor
Aragorn, Driven by Need
Wizard Staff
Raider Bow
Gollum, Dark as Darkness
Southron Assassin
Whirling Strike

You played West Gate of Moria as your site and then played Narsil on Isildur for 3, Wizard Staff on Radagast for 2, Aragorn for 4, and then you moved on removing 2 with West Gate of Moria for 3 because of the companions, so there is 10 in the twilight pool.

Hows that?

Your opponent whose starting fellowship happened to be:

Frodo, Protected by Many w/ The One Ring, The Ring of Doom
Sam, Great Elf Warrior
Westfarthing Bussinessman
Smeagol, Simple Stoor

Drew

Captured by the Ring
Not This Time
Fat One Wants It
Westfarthing Businessman
Sudden Fury
Community Living
Hobbit Intuition
Promise Keeping

Grinned evilly, muttered "What a lucky draw," and played Dammed Gate-Stream to add 3 for a total of 13.

He played Promise Keeping for 4, Not This Time for 2, Fat One Wants It for 2, and uses Captured by the Ring to play Gollum, Threatening Guide and add two threats.

1 left.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz
