If I only have one copy of Promise Keeping and Not This Time, but I want them out quick, are there any cards to pull em out quicker? |

The only one that springs to mind is play gandalf and smeagol in your starting fellowship and saved from the fire smeagol and get them.

Not Easily Avoided from T&D is another good card to grab cards from your deck.

Something Slimy is a great option if you’re also playing Smeagol on your freeps side. Sudden Strike can work if you’ve got the twilight to play Shelob as well as the condition you want to pull. |

I don’t think that works... Something Slimy is a Free Peoples card that says to play a condition from your draw deck, so I don’t think it can be a Shadow Gollum card since IIRC they aren’t active.

This is correct you cant play freeps in a shadow phase or vice versa like this. As far as your shadow cards are concerned in your fellowship phase, they dont exist. |

Although you *can* still spot their culture even if they are not active, since otherwise cards like Saved From the Fire wouldn’t work like everyone uses it to grab Shadow cards by burning Smeagol.
