No, you need another copy of dark approach in your discard pile. 1 dark approach used to play him will not work.

Yes they did, I’m looking for the link to post here.

edit: they said and then they went back Smile It was listed as clarification on the April / 05 CRD that you could do this with Toldea but they reviewed the issue and now you can’t do this.

OK Guys

I always knew that toldea cannot replay the same Dark Approach used to play him. (it was ruled in 2005!!!!!!! )

Just let u know that at the European Championship held in Berlin two weeks ago,we saw all the players (most of them LOTROnline player),use this strategy:

Play toldea with dark approach and take back dark approach without having another copy in discard pile, and the BAD thing was that the Judge let them do this because he said

"Normally u cannot, but Toldea is an exception ruled by Decipher himself"

Now a friends of mine will be very happy to know that he lost a game due to a combo that cannot be used.

Nertea using the previous dark approach recovered with toldea

Yes I agree, infact i told him about it

But the opponent played Toldea first, and when a card hit the table u cannot take it back,to repair this mistake he took back the dark approach using Toldea.

But the question is not how he lost a game, the problem was that every player used to play...

...Toldea - Dark Approach and take back the dark approach without having another DA in discards

Alright it was a classic case of RJ (ridiculous judge). Who appoints them for you in your tournaments? I hope not DGMA...

Yeah, bad judge but Decipher doesn’t help it either because I clearly remember it being stated in one CRD that Toldea could do this. By the way I was sure about it when I posted my answer, but when I searched for it I found that 2 months later they chenged it, so it’s pretty confusing.
