He doesn’t have to win his skirmish, just kill the companion. Like ninja Gollum. Scouting Orc has 3 vitality, with this he’s 5 vitality, just like with Vicious Warg. That’s four wounds on Durin! |

Both Scouting Orc and Veteran Warchief have 2 vitality, actually. So with this warg, they could put 3 wounds on a companion. |
All cards do what they say. |

Right...I must’ve been adding the vitality boost when I said "3 Vitality". Heh, now I’m treating it like it’s automatic! |

I understand your point, and I thought about that too. But I think that the card balances out--barely--because it’s not fantastic unless you skirmish a character of the race you named. The FP has plenty of ways to make sure a companion of a different race ends up being assigned instead, if they work at doing so.
I think it balances out. It will require some new strategies on the FP player’s part, but it’s not broken, I don’t think.
Just out of curiosity, what are theNOLINK other two you think are broken?
All wargs are very strong in combination with Scouting Orc and other exert/wound orcs, and this warg is even more stronger. All one race fellowships suffers. In many fellowship only ringbarer is from diferent culture, and minion who need to be assigned to him is fierce and 12 strenght or more usually with 3 exert/wounds. Ok new Rohan doesn’t mind if ringbarer fights, but stil. So there is continium of puting Gandalf in almost every deck.
Good think is that card have 3 twiglight.
Other two broken cards are new Dwarf ring, and follower Saruman.
It is terrible what can you do with only 8 twiglight:
Veteran War Chief + rare warg + Saruman Follower
With litle bit more twiglight there are:
Rider’s Gear 1 twiglight
Feral Ride (until skrimish there can be more twiglight)
and don’t forget
Mordor Scimitar 2 twiglight |

Ah yes, a Mordor Scimitar. How could we forget? A Mordor Scimitar automatically exerts, and then finish ’em off with wounding. Not to mention damage +1...
I think D is going to probably have to clarify the orcs and put (limit once per phase) on all the orcs. |

I have to agree with pywils. This is a sweet warg. A 5 from me.
the wargs in this set(and their prospective strategy) is definitely better then the puny attempt at their might in Battle for(or is it of?) Helms deep. |

Does anyone else think the Orc Artisan will cause some serious twilight explosions with all the possessions these new warg-riders will be playing? |
