Good catch. I almost missed your comment on it.
The reason is simple: on the Lasting Alliances sitepath, the Misty Mountains aren’t until site 4, so Gollum doesn’t appear until then. I figured that, in this case, that made the site number change make sense. Plus it helps offset his rather nice abilities when you use these versions outside of Lasting Alliances.
If you really feel strongly I should change them to Site 3, I will. I just though 4 would be okay in this case. |

No, it’s supposed to be an event. I guess the wording is kind of confusing....
Should I do this instead?

OK well in that case, I would make it, -1 strength and exert them if they have 2 resistance... or would that be to good? |

Make it a condition that plays on an underground site Just my opinion. And if you do that, when the fellowship moves from the site, exert each dude with resistance 2 or less. That way it works, but the exertion is preventable

Needs some rewording. Maybe (or spot Gollum to add [X], where X is the current region number). And cut the twilight cost to

First off, let me state that I love the new Gollum, Small Slimy Creature. Brilliantly done.

I think this one would be better as a condition since it affects a broad amount of companions. Other than that, looks good.

Good. Though, I think the latter ability would be better worded as..."(or, if you can spot Gollum, add [X], where X is the current region number)." Rather small thing, I know... |

Okay. I changed Dark to a condition and tweaked the wording of Time, as per your suggestions, NB and MoS. Better now?
Thanks for the reviews. Sorry to disappoint, but I think three Duos is more than enough for one day. There’ll be more tomorrow. You can wait. If my morning Duo tomorrow gets reviewed early, there’ll be another in the afternoon. So if you REALLY want more cards, check back tomorrow around lunchtime. |

You may add to play this condition during the maneuver phase.
Each companion and ally at an underground site is strength -1 (or -2 if they have resistance 2 or less).
“‘It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, / Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. / It lies behind stars and under hills, /And empty holes it fills. / It comes first and follows after, / Ends life, kills laughter.’”
I was kinda thinking this....

Condition
Riddle. Toil 1. To play, spot Gollum or a riddle. Plays on an underground site.
Each companion and ally is strength -1.
If the fellowship moves from this site, exert each companion with resistance 2 or less.
Discard this condition at the end of the turn.
“‘It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, / Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt. / It lies behind stars and under hills, /And empty holes it fills. / It comes first and follows after, / Ends life, kills laughter.’”
Kinda like Saruman’s Snows, Saruman’s Chill, etc. I really think the conditions on site mechanic was real good...and I would love to see you bring it back. Of course, I’m not recommending you copy/paste this as your duo, just that you think about the playing on sites mechanic. |

I have plans to do just that. Check out the current Lasting Alliances cardlist and scroll down to a certain cloak. Weather cards make a grand return, and several of them play on sites. I also have cards that benefit the fellowship that play on sites, like Surpassed the Old Days.
Believe me, I’m with you. I think conditions that play on sites are a great idea, yet another good one that Decipher has all but abandoned since the King block. I’ll have plenty of site conditions throughout my sets. Don’t worry. |
