Did you say you wanted us to judge the swords also based on the Nazgul you submitted? If so, I wouldn’t mind a reposting of said Nazgul with the swords to make it easier. Mr. Green

Not a bad idea. I didn’t intend for the possessions/artifacts to be STRICTLY bound to the Nazzies we made, but I suppose it would be helpful to compare them side-by-side, and certainly would give better scope and reference to the new cards we made.

I have edited the original post, putting our Nazzies in small, dark blue font below our new cards. Hope that helps, Thran. Thumbs Up

Thanks Dain, but it didn’t really make my voting any easier! Razz

I liked Dain’s as a concept much better (despite it needing some streamlining) but I felt NB’s had a very interesting link to his Nazgul, despite perhaps being a little overpowered, which leads me unfortunately no closer to a decision.

I think I’m going to go for concept and vote for Dain.

Yeah, I guess that pretty much settles it. Sorry, NB.

for participating, and remember, I will likely use at least ONE of your cards.

So, that takes us down to four contestants. And just like last time, I will be pairing according to order. So that means that for this round, the matchups are:

Dáin Ironfoot vs. elf lvr

and

lem0nhead vs. AgentDrake

And the challenge for this round is...to bring us a shrubbery! Then you must cut down the mightiest tree in the forest, wiiiiiith...a herring!

Okay, seriously now. Your challenge IS related to trees. Smile

Make an Ent and a Tree. Each can be either a companion OR an ally, but no minions, please. They can be from The Two Towers, or from the short (but important) Watchwood scenes from Return of the King (of which there are some in both the film AND novel)...that’s up to you. However, as always, please keep them along the lines of old-school Ents (at least if you design ones from TTT)--you could even bring back unhasty if you want to!--and format them properly and use appropriate lore.

Since we’re getting started midweek instead of on Monday, as I planned before we had our necessary tiebreaker--you have until NEXT Monday, January 14th (at midnight, we’ll say) to finish. Voting will then begin Tuesday and wrap up by the end of that week.
