When I started, I mooched and bought a bunch of commons from friends for my deck, and then when I had enough, I traded some of them for a Goblin Armory, 4 Goblin Marksman, and 3 Goblin Scimitars. First rare, Goblin Armory. Second? Goblin Swarms.
I still have both. The Goblin Armory is pretty beat up, but Goblin Swarms was placed in a sleeve (I didn’t have a clue what they were worth, but I thought that Goblin Swarms was better). |

I remember vividly my very first pack... Band of the Eye right in the middle. I thought it was an event at first, and after staring at it for a minute or so I was like, "Oh! It’s a minion! Sweet!"
The next day I went to Borders and got the FotR starter (I believe Gandalf). I landed Arwen, DoE and Black Steed, with another rare I can’t remember.
I loved my Arwen. She was so pimp back then. Before the dark times. Before the empire. |

When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

I don’t remember the first rare but among the first decks/boosters was a Gimli’s Mines of Moria starter deck where I found Bill Ferny, Swarthy Sneering Fellow and Secret Sentinels |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Honestly, your bumps (in the LOTR forum???) are driving me crazy.
I remember one of the rares I got was Uruk-hai horde from TT. |
