Either make it unique or say limit one per bearer. 4 of these on someone is silly.

Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Resistance: (5)
Ring-bound.
While Sam bears Sting or an artifact, he is resistance +4. While Sam bears The One Ring, Frodo may not be overwhelmed unless his strength is tripled.
Each time Sam wins a skirmish, you may exert him to remove a threat.
Even when he thought Frodo was dead, Sam kept hope alive, taking the Ring upon himself.

I think just having sting or the mithril coat to give him +4 resistance is too easy. Make it less than 4 resistance or find another way to add resistance to him. Apart from that he’s cool.

2•Athal, Elven Raftsman Elven
Follower
Resistance: +2
Aid-3
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may reinforce an Elven token.
Regroup: Transfer Athal to your support area to make the first Shadow player heal a companion.

Nice idea very interesting. He has 3 major benefits though, one being a cool healing thing, so make him cost 3.

When you play this condition, spot an Elven follower to add an Elven token here. Each time a token is removed from here, add a threat or discard this condition.
Regroup: Remove 2 tokens from here to exhaust a minion.

Ouch each time a token is removed? Thats gonna hurt. I’d remove that line and add this to the regroup text "...exhaust a minion. Add a threat or discard this condition"

If a Gandalf Man or an Elven companion wins a skirmish, you may spot an Elven follower to reinforce an Elven token twice.

"Ring-bound Hobbit" should be capitalized as I typed it. Neat, though.

Awesome as the Ring-bearer OR as a regular ol’ companion...but perhaps too awesome, as lem0n noted. How about if you do this: "While Sam bears Sting or an artifact, he is resistance +1 for each possession and artifact he bears (limit +4). That makes him a little more interesting, too. Thumbs Up

I agree with lem0n...he’s a tad powerful for only 2, even with his high aid cost. Make him cost 3.

Not sure how balanced it is. Think Perhaps go with lem0n’s suggestion.

IMHO it should give him +1 resistance and strength and cut cost to 1

NOW we finally see where Ungol comes in; believe it or not, I guessed you had this kind of thing in mind. Razz Interesting with the follower hate, but makes sense with all the followers in your sets. But why is he so much weaker than other Gorbags? Think I think it would be okay to take him up to at least strength 11 and increase his cost to 5, like other Gorbags.

Most people have said what needs doing. Up his cost and strength or up his strength a bit and leave cost as he is. Nice gametext.

I think I’ll up his strength to 9, but leave his cost as-is, as well as the site. The new Ungol Gorbag is indeed a bit of a departure from his previous versions...that’s intentional.
