Long story short, it was/is the name of my Jedi alter-ego that I created after Episode I released and we were introduced to a universe with 10,000 Jedi. I have a costume with a hand made lightsaber prop handle and everything...
Then I figured out how bad the new Star Wars movies were, but I liked the name so I use it for much of my online presence. It is distinctive and fairly recognizable. If you see Merrick_Hale or MerrickHale anywhere online it is likely me. |

I stopped reading the Star Wars books after the dark and depressing story line that was NJO (the New Jedi Order). I just didn’t care about the universe any more as it wasn’t the Star Wars that I knew and loved. My favorite authors are Zahn, Stackpole and Alston. Pretty much anything Zahn writes is golden, Stackpole created some wonderful characters and is a pretty good writer and Alston did a great job following up Stackpole in the X-wing books.
This post is way off subject! Hmm Lurkers to Star Wars. Perhaps I should start a new thread as a Star Wars discussion. |
