sperzdechly wrote: My friend used to play Gandalf, BoO. I can’t belive you would play it without Jarnsmid, Barding Emissary!!! He’s crutial in triple move. You use him and Mighty Steed (it can be recycled with Erland! So you can use it at every site!) to swith to Gandalf and go further and further...Then you can forget about Ease the Burden which for me is pretty poor card. If you play Jarnsmid early with AWINL you even don’t need to use Watch and Wait. I would try to add some Terrible and Evil - for me is a must-have in any Gandalf Deck.
You’re right! Jarnsmid would be very nice. As for Terrible and Evil...come to think of it, you’re right on that too! Thanks for the great tips! |

I learned a lot about Gandalf, BoO through this article. When I first saw him, I thought, Oh man. That isn’t very good! But you helped me learn that Gandalf, BoO just needs the right stuff and he wins. |

my friend ran a deck like this and when used properly gandalf is a BEAST! i really respect anybody who doesn’t just make the popular decks like men archery and demoralized (now thats gone) swarm and forest nazzies. Good job, very good article, perfect 5! |

What I do not understand is why the:
Radagast, Tender of Beasts x2
I know he is powerful and all, but doesn’t he infringe on the rule of uniqueness when Radagast, The Brown is on the board?
Or is there something I do not understand of him?
Thanks,
F. |

Yes, but the question still remains. I have been playing for the past 3 months and would like to know about what I asked...
So what if it’s been 6 months? |

From the rulebook:
When a unique card is in play and currently active, you cannot play another card that has the same title.

An interesting fact is that if Radagast, The Brown is in play, you can discard the follower version from hand to heal Radagast.

You can’t play the Radagast follower, unless you don’t want to play the Radagast companion. |
