Moria is the best in my opinion because it was quite a brain game to play in fellowship block. It was quite versatile with several good deck types (Dark Places, Archery and Swarm) It also was still playable up through Return of the King block and was a major part of the deck known as Firebomb.

Yes!

What’s a Dark Places deck? Never heard of it myself, but then again I’m relatively new to the game...

Idk what dark places deck is. I played a deck with a lot of dark places, Balrog, Cave Troll, Troll’s keyward, Moria Axe, so forth, but i’m not sure if thats waht they mean. I love gollum, nazgul, and Men archery.

gollum orc and raider all tied up at two each, i was expecting evil men to take a huge lead with nazzies close behind, i was way off!

Pretty much the only good things about Men are Bill Ferny and archery. There’s not a lot of deck ideas there. Raider has always been a favorite for its threat-based attack (Cast Unto the Winds), and I’d rank it right up there with Orc and Gollum. Ninja Gollum...there is just no parallel. What’s better than downing Frodo at Site 2? Very Happy

It uses pretty much only unique Moria minions to get out a number of fairly cheap huge minions that scare off double moves. It worked pretty well in fellowship block where three to four 12 and 14 strength minions could prevent a fellowship from doubling. A deck I’m running right now looks like this:

Minions
2x Archer Commander
2x Ancient Chieftain
2x Guard Commander
3x Trolls Keyward
3x Cave Troll of Moria scourge of the black pit
1x The Balrog Flame of Udun
4x Goblin Runner

Conditions
4x Goblin Armory
4x Dark Places
1x They are Coming
1x Goblin Swarms

Possessions
3x Goblin Spear
2x Cave Trolls Hammer
1x Cave Trolls Chain

The cool part is the goblin spears can be played on any of your minions, including the Balrog and the Cave Troll to make them bigger. The Cave Troll can get rather scary with all his toys and big minions get in stops quite nicely.

My favorite is Wraith corruption, hands down.
I had to put something here.
