(Hunters block deck)

Shadow (33)
Black Gate Sentry x4 (wounds companions)
Black Land Chieftain x4 (adds threats)
Black Land Overlord x4 (exerts companions)
Black Land Observer x3 (adds threats)
Gollum, Hopeless x4 (uses Not This Time to wound companions)
Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings x3 (exerts companions)
Ugluk, Ugly Fellow x3 (exerts companions)
Ulaire Lemenya, Eternally Threatening x3 (adds threats)
Coordinated Effort x3 (adds twilight)
Not This Time x2 (wounds companions)

Suggestions?

yesterday I made this shadow, base on quite similar techs (standard version of course):
Black gate sentry x4
Black land overlord x3
Black land chieftain x3
Gollum, skulker
captured by the ring x4
not this time! x2
final strike x2
hidden even from her
corsair plunderer x2
corsair marauder x4
southron leader x3
red wrath x3
ulaire lemenya, eternally threatening x3

was pretty fun ^^
about your shadow, I’m not convinced about adding twilights against possessions.
big companies will suffer very much without twilight adding and against point denial you can still wait on double moves or make uncancellable exertions with mumak commander and other guys... + coordinated effort really looks unpredictable to me... well only my thoughts... perhaps unreasonable choice would be better?
if you rely on possessions with black land chieftain + coordinated effort, the risk is that your opponent doesn’t play any possession at all... I’m not really sure, it needs to be tested

Your deck looks fun, although the Observers need to spot an Orc condition to add a threat, and there are no Orc conditions included.

Yes, I was wondering about that. I might change it to Unreasonable Choice.

Ah, okay. I didn’t think that the Observers were necessary in that deck, since Lemenya, the Chieftain, and Captured by the Ring all add plenty of threats.

orian, it’s Hunters Block, so AC can’t add the cards you mentioned. It is too bad that there aren’t more Hunters cards. But it’s a good deck.

Yeah, I already let him know earlier. His recent decklists was just an idea for a Standard deck - it wasn’t supposed to be a suggestion for my Hunters block deck.

Nah, I don’t think it needs more Uruks. Ugluk is only in there because for 4 twilight you can get a 12 strength fierce minion who exerts the companion he is skirmishing.

I love how I can exert companions os easily, and then a well-timed Black gate Sentry or Not This Time can finish off a companion and trigger all the threats. Smile

I am currently making a deck similar to this to use in an upcoming tournament (the nine companions one).

More companions = higher threat limit! Very Happy

Cool. With all the companions in play, Black Land Chieftain + Black Land Overlord would be deadly. Twisted Evil
