Yep, I was just thinking last night about the possibility of Ithil Stone in the deck. I decided to drop an Incited and a Led Astray for 2 copies of Ithil Stone.

Thanks for the tip!

Pretty decent article but I think that the deck still isn’t that good.
FOr example this deck versus an Elvin twins deck would be starved of twilight, Any decent choke deck could really hurt this deck.
Also the article is a bit "dry"
However for a good job overall I give you a 4.

As I have said before, against choke I will not have many problems. Gollum is super cheap, and during the early sites he will set up my attack. Then, during Region 2/3, I can So Polite and Led Astray to easily get enough twilight to play Sauron.

Thanks for the vote, but I still think (and know, having used the deck myself) that it works well against choke.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Most Knight decks don’t pack Men of Numenor.

Another great article, Anxious Chieftain, allthough you didn’t convince me about how well the shadow side handles choke. I’m pretty sure my RB hobbit choke deck could handle it pretty well Wink

The only thing I’m missing, is something about how a good Gandalf package can decimate your shadow side. Roll of Thunder to discard Ithil Stone, Sleep Caradhras to clear everything else on the table, and Terrible and Evil to cope with Enquea.

A good multiculture wounding (Greenleaf, Eowyn, Shadowplay, Unheeded, Gondor Bowmen)deck would probably also give you a run for your money, but hey, a deck can’t be strong against everything!

But, as always, it was a joy to read Smile
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.

I think it is good, except for the fact you underestimate Dwarves.
I can get Durin up to 18 Strength Damage +9 using Proud and Able,
Gimli’s Battle Axe, Trusted Weapon,
Hand Axe, Dwarven bracers, Ring of Fury.
Add a few events and the Dark Lord is Toast.

I give it a 4.

Thanks, but it’s hard for Durin to continually beat Sauron - I can play Sauron so many times, eventually Durin will fall.
