Bill Ferny has no assignment options. He can only add twilight.
Trapper can be assigned to any unbound companion he chooses. |

The effect is the same. If i keep Bill unwounded (easy) i assign him during declaration of defenders after the fpp is over doing his part wherever i wish. The trapper is assigned during actions by disacrding a man card (ouch).
So i assign a man minion wherever i wish, so where is the difference? Ferny can assign to Ring-Bound as well.... |

| But Bill can be stopped with cards like Shadowplay. Pavise prevent wounds, not exerts. In this case, maybe the Trapper have some advantage. |
