My felloship strategy is to make the opposing minions take as many wounds as possible So I can defeat minions with arwens special and recur events with Celeborn special I will triumph over the shadow.
Now my shadow strategy is to recur my goblins with Hosts of thousands. And get my cave troll back with hosts of moria. Also I try to pump up my weak gobli =ns with weapons of course I try to swarm.

I count 23 cards for the Free Peoples, and 26 for the Shadow. A legal deck requires equal amounts of Free Peoples and Shadows cards (Ring-bearer and Ring not included), and both sides must be at least 30 cards.

Not to mention that you’re usually wanting a good-sized deck to pull off Moria swarm, like 37/37 or even 40/40.

I’ll post my decklist for Moria swarm, and it works pretty well, throwing out 10 minions once.

(40 Cards)

Goblin Runner x4
Goblin Scimitar x 4
Goblin Scavengers x 4
Goblin Swarms x 2
Goblin Armory x 4
Goblin Backstabber x 4
Goblin Wallcrawler x 4
Pinned Down x 2
Moria Scout x 4 (good for archery, and free vs. elves.)

The Balrog, Terror of Flame and Shadow x 2
The whip of Many thongs, weapon of Flame and Shadow x 2

Host of Thousands x 4

I recomend this deck for Moria swarm. Using goblin scavengers to pull Goblin Scimitars out of your discard pile draws a card, Goblin Backstabber is damage+2, quickly killing off a defender + strategy, Goblin Wallcrawler and Pinned Down kills archery, and Moria Scout kills elves.

Then, the balrog is twilight cost 8 with the Bridge of Khazad Dum, and then playing the whip on him to make him fierce. He easily kills off two companions, leaving you to swarm the rest. And you can slam your opponent with the Balrog twice, killing 4 companions easily.

Using this deck you can spew out 12 minions off 1 twilight, pretty nasty swarm. Of course, the best I’ve done is 10 minions off 3.

I’m not a big fan of the Cave Troll of Moria, I prefer the Balrog.

Pretty nice...the Whip also kills Elvents pretty handily.

The only problem, of course, is managing to draw the Balrog and the Whip at the same time...otherwise you’ve got hand clog. But a good deck. I love Moria!

Moria has the most flavor by way of whole cultures (you just try and argue about that!).

And yeah, Cave Troll sucks. Too expensive, and it’ll get beat. It sure was sweet back in the day, though. I remember getting mine and flipping out (that was just after getting my Arwen, DoE).
Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Who am I?

Actually, I wait till I have a whip and then play the bridge of khazad dum (old one). I only play this deck in casual play, in which we allow the old sites to be played in different order. We use an algorithm to calculate the twilight cost (twilight - (site’s region * 3) + region penalty).

In regular play, cut the balrog and go for the swarm.
