Okay, here’s a "contest" that I just thought of doing, since we’ve got seven RoS card titles. It’s not a proper DC contest, really...but it involves plenty of DCing. Here’s how it goes.
These are the seven titles:
Namárië
Imladris
Cry and Panic
A DefiNOLINKled Charge
Orkish Flanker
White Hand Scout
Sunland Scout
What you’re supposed to do is to make a DC of each of these titles. From what I understand, they have no subtitles. When RoS is finally spoiled, whoever is judged closest to the actual cards (as per me) will get a whole bunch of GP! (No entry fee required)
Have fun! |

Yep. That’s all you have to do, post the seven cards.
I’d recommend checking out the existing RoS spoilers, to get an idea of how the real cards will work, so that you have a better shot at getting them right.
As for my evaluation, I need a couple tips. How would you rate the following categories, in order of importance?
1) Vital stats (strength, vitality, site #) of a companion/minion
2) Twilight cost
3) Keywords
4) Ability
I’m thinking maybe 1, 4, 3, 2? |

Now! Get your entries in before RoS is revealed in its entirety!
Here’s going to be my rubric for closeness evaluation, when RoS does release:
If the card was a minion or a condition that enhanced a character (e.g. Escape, Salt from the Shire ), how close were you on the vital stats (strength, vitality, site #)?
Did you get the card type right?
How close were you on the card’s ability/action?
Did you get the right culture?
How close did you get on keywords?
How close did you get to the card’s twilight cost? |
