| it was an original idea, but didn’t seem to hold my intrest. it was neat to see 8 companions starting. AC is right about the uruk deck, it is not very crazy or odd. i often have played against a similar deck. and SoP is is right about grimbeorn only using his special ability once per each maneuver phase. |

| a few more mistakes, book of mazarbul only works on fellowship sites. if it said ANY it would work in your deck. Also Solo Gimli is usaully run with a pippin engine (4x make haste several daddy twofoot etc.) That way you can return pippin to hand to make them either remove the last of their twilight(which since you are choking probably won’t be much or discard 1 of their probably at max 2 minions). then at the start of your next turn you play Pippin healing or removing a burden. |

| Wow, that Solo Gimli was very sweet! I love the way you don’t care about burdens at all, and instead focus on damage bonuses. That’s a good way to handle things. I would just recommend that you have a look, perhaps, at Blood Runs Chill, to dump conditions. But that’s just a suggestion. I love the concept. |

hmm, it’s really a nice-looking starting, however one major problem occurs. All those Ents’ gametext says "Ent OR unbound Hobbit". Even Quickbeam has related clarification in the Comprehensive Rules 4.0 document. So - you cannot spot BOTH Ents AND unbound Hobbits. You may only spot EITHER Ents OR unbound Hobbits.
I am not 100% sure about that but simple logic suggests so.
I like the Solo-Gimli idea, did you check it working in practice, especially vs. heavy corruption decks (like Ulaire Enquea, Thrall of the One)? |
