For Cobra’s latest contest...

1× Evil-smelling Fens (BoHD)
2× They Stole It (EoFF)
1× Gollum, Plotting Deceiver (RotK)
1× Shelob, Last Child of Ungoliant (SoG)
1× Host of Moria, Legion of the Underdeeps (Reflections)
2× Seasoned Leader (MD)
3× Gollum, Skulker (Shadows)
1× Mumak Rider (BR)
2× Little Snuffler (Bloodlines)
1× Horror of Harad (Draft)
2× Sudden Strike (Hunters)
1× Covetous Wisp (Wraith)
1× Saruman, Instigator of Insurrection
Hehehe... It’s fun..
There Is no much strategy. A lot of minions are cheap (moria) and wouldn’t have problems playing It. Shelob, Last Child of Ungoliant+Isengard Shaman is like best anti archery combo ever for just 9 twilight. Evil-smelling Fens and Sudden Strike lets you replay your favorit minions. They Stole It... great woundindg card. Gollum, Plotting Deceiver... could be played once or twice. Desert Lord+Seasoned Leader+Saruman killer combo for just 10 twilight (while you can spot 6 companions). Little Snuffler is multi-use event that can replay your Shelob or Gollum in region 3. Host of Moria, Legion of the Underdeeps to replay your archer. Gollum Skulker to boost your big minions a bit (maybe to overwhelm). Covetous Wisp is cheap with 2 vitality. Horror of Harad for a good laugh (or a good card to discard)

A few quibbles:
Saruman needs some Hunter minions to be useful, though, since he can’t be assigned to a skirmish.
Seems like you have an interesting strategy--it would be nice if you outline it more, though. That’s likely to boost your chances of winning.  |
