Good

And the reason I said Proud and Able w/ Gimli’s Battle axe was to make Gimli damage +3, and thus resistance +3.

I included Arod in my calcs, unless you have another possession on Gimli I don’t see. BTW, I give you a 4. I like your twist on the traditional run.

arod gives one resistance, the axe one, and with Proud and Able you get two. one for each possession.

That was what I understood from your strategy, you can only discard and cycle for so long, then your deck is gone, what would you do about that?

you shouldn’t run into that problem, as you will be running a long way. it’s hard to pick up too many cards on the run. so while you are setting up, your deck is cycling fast, but once you start the run, cycling slows down. does that answer your question?

Nice idea - quite original. Well written, kept my attention till the end despite its size.
I would drop 2x Have Patience (you don’t want to add to much twilight in fellowship), and maybe one Riding Like the Wind. Then I would add 2x Terrible and Evil (kill big and strong minions before they kill you) and Gimli’s Battle Axe, Vicious Weapon (additional muster and can kill minions on battleground independently on their strenght). If you use Shadowfax, you can enter Neekerbreeker’s Bog and heal everybody, so I would add it to my path.

Corsiars would kill you before you’d start to run: good cycling (Corsair Plunderer), mounts’ discard (Corsair Marauder) overwhelming strength (Castamir). But every fellowship has its own bane Smile

I’m choosing between 4 and 5. For a time beeing I’ll wait...

thanks! you gave a lot of good advice sperzdechly. what i did, was took out the have patience, added a gimli’s battle axe, vicious weapon and a terrible and evil, then took out two arwen’s and added thje prancing pony to the site path, and added another terrible and evil, and a out of the high airs to clear the table of minions. i considered Neekerbreeker’s Bog but the danger is getting exerted, and the other sites are more important.

but what do you think?

Much better. You should be able to survive your run. Path control would be a great advantage (healing, removing burdens...), so if you’re able to squize there a few Pathfinder or Speak "Friend" and Enter it would be perfect (but I don’t know what to remove - I would have to play this deck to tell).

yeah, when i started building it i had quite a bit of path control, but it became quite clear that it wouldn’t fit.

also, i quite agree with you that there is always a way to beat a deck, so i try to make either solid decks, or decks that use interesting concepts. thanks for your advice.
