Howdah is a great card for just about any archery deck. 0 cost, non-unique condition, so you can just store them in your support area till you need some extra archery. The problem with adding Bows is that all his minions are already archers.
And speaking of that, why include Raider Bow? All it does to help you is add for the skirmish phase, and it costs 2 to play.
I’ve never played Southron archery, so I don’t really have any other advice for the Shadow side.

Because the Southron Bow costs three, as opposed to zero, and it also means the deck clogs less, asI can play Howdah straight away.
The +1 archery for no cost never hurts.
And by that logic you could argue that using cloud of arrows in a Uruk archery deck is pointless, but yet that isn’t the case.
Once Desert Lord and the others have exhausted their companions, having another 2 or 3 archery for no cost can really make the difference.
Raider Bow ensures that I can have the twilight avalible for Whirling Strike, which is a crucial card for finishing off their exhausted companions in skirmish (it’s especially useful for butchering Eowyn, Lady of Great Annoying-woundingness) but unlike Red Wrath doesn’t mean I have to leave an exertion off my archers abilities. |

i love southron archery, but i haven’t had very much experiance with it. your deck looks good, i might add one red wrath. that way you can either pull it out at the opportune moment, and kill a companion. a freeps player usually thinks they are safe with two vitality left, but a red wrath can really nail them, and if the minion has seasoned leader, it makes them strength +2. with only one in the deck, it makes the freeps player more likely to not expect your red wrath, and make a bad assignment.
just a thought.

I would take out one Raider Bow to put in one Red Wrath, just so that you can have one in your deck. In case you do need it. |

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, I might well do that.
Might also drop one quelled for a ships of great draught for recycling good cards, and also to bugger IB decks. |

Ships of Great Draught is an excellent card. It also helps if you’re facing choke decks, so that you can discard cards like crazy and run through your deck to get Freeps cards. |

there are already 4x raider bow in the deck, and red wrath is much more costly than the easy plus one that howdah gives, so it’s not a bad choice. |
