Is there a set rule for maximum life? If there is, I've never found it...

I like to play with 20 max, as it is quite easy to get a deck that'll give you 60+ life... I don't see a rule stating you can't break the limit, but then again... I don't see one seing you can.

Thoughts/helpful links/etc?

Actually, there certainly is no limit except it must be a finite life total. There are many infinate life combos, so you define a few billion as your total. There was a combo with a cleric who gets +0/2 when targeted, starlit sanctum, and one of the guys with a free target ability that redirects damage, which was probably the most popular "infinate life" combos.

What happened when you had an infinite-life-total mirror match? Whoever draws first, loses? Laughing

See the problem is, you have to define a life total. Typically, a good choice is a few billion Smile. But then the infinate burn deck can define X to be twice your life total, at which point you lose anyway.

Against a mirror, it’s whoever plays millstone Smile
