Well, (again from the Q&A), Brad said the new Horn would work followers (I think any followers, not just  ones) and that it would work best with when borne by Boromir, but it doesn’t have to be. |

Brad is very tricky with his hints he likes nothing more than fooling us all! He said the horn works with other free peoples followers not just gondor but doesnt neccessarily help them.
