--- description ---
With bouncing Hobbits and wounds flying around, this is not a deck to miss.
--- end description ---

Ring-bearer and Ring
Frodo, Resolute Hobbit
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings

Free Peoples (33)
Merry, Swordthain (starting)
Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver (starting)
Sam, Needer of Vittles (starting)
Smeagol, Always Helps (starting)
Shadowplay x4
Unheeded x4
Great Heart x4
Don’t Look at Them x2
Mind Your Own Affairs x4
Power According to His Stature x2
Home and Hearth x2
Don’t Follow the Lights x4
Birthday Present
Daddy Twofoot, Next-door Neighbor
Cliffs of Emyn Muil

A basic exerting and wounding deck, with Don’t Follow the Lights for an extra trick. With all the exertions from Shadowplay and Unheeded flying around, I use the two Hobbits that bounce back to hand to keep my Hobbits free of wounds, and then I play them next turn to remove burdens with Sam.

Another cool card in this deck is Great Heart. I play it on the unbound Hobbits to wound a minion, and then I bounce the Hobbit back to my hand discarding the condition.

(note: this deck was inspired by Pywils’s deck)

Too bad a chunk of Merry’s text is useless, but he works well in the deck anyway.

I like this deck a lot. That Smeagol, Always Helps/Don’t Look at Them combo is AWESOME.
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Yeah, I just couldn’t find another Merry that would help as much, so I figured that since Swordthain can take care of 3 exertions every turn he was a good fit for the deck.

i like it. However, i find in my deck, the use of Nasty, and Frodo, Master of the Precious not only gets rid of smeagol’s wounds, but the threats he adds as well. Why not add some Home and Hearth to remove tons of Burdens each time you play Merry and Pippipn.
Great job

I would add another copy of Daddy Twofoot, Next-door Neighbor. Cool deck! GP
I had to put something here.

Home and Hearth x2 added. Thanks! I don’t think I’ll need another Daddy Twofoot, but I’ll try it out and see what works best.

I think you should mention that Smeagol, AH + Unheeded means death to any minion. Exhausting a minion exerts it, so that works.

Really cool deck!
