Alright, I’ve been in the mood for one of the ’old-fashioned’ contests we used to have on the Decipher boards, remember? The contests where no PMs were need (I’m not complaining, just reminiscing) and deadlines were much shorter (ditto). Fast-paced, brutal workouts, where you didn’t have to enter every contest. Well, I’m bringing back one of the old concepts of those contests as well; chapter-by-chapter cards. Here is how it will work:
Every time I post a contest, it’ll be for a different chapter in the series. People post the three cards I require in this actual post and in the next contest, people vote on them. Simple, yes? Eh, not really. There’s no real, point. Well, other than having fun, each card you have that win, will earn you a  . Also, after every book (there are two books in Fellowship of the Ring, TT, RotK), a book champion will be crowned. After we’re done with the entirety of Fellowship of the Ring, the two champions from Fellowship of the Ring will face off. The winners will face the eventual winners from TT and RotK. Now, here comes the good part.
Those three champions will have a major match-up, that will be very hardcore. The final champion left standing will recieve TEN from myself. A steep price, but I think a prize that will be earned.
Reminder: It is not necessary to enter every time.
So, without further ado, here is the first challenge.
Card #1 - •Bilbo, Wisened Halfling - Ally or Companion - He needs to somohow help choke the shadow player.
Card #2 - Birthday Cake - Possession or Condition - Should damper minions’ ability to hurt the fellowship, but not strength-wise.
Card #3 - Exodus From the Shire - Event or Condition - Another choke card.
Deadline is Wednesday, May 2nd - 5 PM PST. |

While the fellowship is at a dwelling site, each companion bearing a follower cannot be overwhelmed unless his or her strength is tripled.
Exodus From the Shire
Event • Fellowship
If the fellowship is in region 1, spot 2 Hobbits to remove .
If the fellowship is in region 2 or 3, spot 2 Hobbits to remove . |
