A nice, solid Boromir...but what I’m really loving is that gametext! With this Boromir, you can fetch just about any possession your heart desires! And that means a lot in LOTR. Sword of Gondor, Blade of Gondor...

Or you could combo Denethor, Lord of Minas Tirith and Boromir! Denethor grabs Boromir, Boromir grabs Kingsfoil to heal Denethor!

Nice card, I give it a 4.

The moment, Boromir absolutely pales into insignificance compared to Faramir. Faramir costs 2 in the starting fellowship, has Hunter 2, resistance 7 and can shut down all special abilities from the maneuver phase onwards with stewards’ legacy. What can Boromir do? At the moment, fetch a fairly useless possession (like a sword). Here’s hoping that the Horn of Gondor makes him worth using.

A 4 from me. Hopefully his new Horn will make him ore useful, but as it is he is just a decent version of Boromir.

The one really cool thing about him is that if you play him via The Prancing Pony at site 1, you can grab an Ithilien Blade and then be safe against most minions at the early sites.

This Boromir has a nice ability, but personally, I think is he is a one trick pony. Once you play him and fetch a possession from your deck, he is a strength 7 gondor man who can’t do anything. Under powered compared to the other Boromir versions out there. A medicore 3 from me.

Cool text, especially if you use Gondorian Blade. I give it a 4. Smile
I had to put something here.

I gave him a 4. He’s not going to be a lifesaver in the late game, especially compared to other versions, but his early game potential makes him an awesome choice to play early, perhaps with The Prancing Pony as AC suggested. There’s so many varied possessions you could play on him then that he can be a gamechanger early on.
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

RANGER BOROMIR! Players have needed this since Fellowship Block rotated out. His possession grabbing ability is sweet as well.

Unless this new Horn practically wins you the game the faster you get it out I can’t see you would use this Boromir over some of the others that get harder for posessions or can heal other Gondor companions. He’s just ok.
