quick question.

What are the rules on haveing a card in your deck with non-english lettering? According to Pazanzar, you need to have another card of the same type with english lettering in your deck. But, I dont think he was 100% sure about that.

A card in tengwar (elvish) has the same effects of his english brother/sister.
But you need to have a translation available for your opponent.
Another card in your deck or fotocopy of the card at your disposal will do.

Hope this helps.

Can the English card actually be in your deck? That could potentially have an effect on the game, if you need to search your draw deck or discard pile to show your opponent the card, or reveal that it is in your hand.

Outside the deck is better -- as Earthshaker said, a photocopy or printout of the actual card will work.

THAT IS WHAT I THOUGHT TOO!
I thought it didnt make any sence to put another copy in your deck when your not supposed to look through it to prove the card anyways.
I know that when you buy the big card boxes with tengwar text rares, it comes with a book with the translations for the card's text. That just seems like allot of work. Y not make all cards in english Mad

You can only have a foreign card in your deck if you have an English card or translation outside of your deck. Of course, if you and your opponent know what the card does, you don't have to have a translation nearby.

The reason they make those cards Tengwar is because it makes them prettier. Wink
