Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Well, he was cool, but he didn’t exactly do anything, did he? He helped out the other hobbits at the very beginning and then spent most of the time in prison...

This card actually sticks to the story really well!

Didn’t he raise the alarm that Nazgul were in the area, after high-tailing it from underneath their noses?

Yeah he stayed at the house in tuckborough (i think) and set of the cries of alarm to confuse the nazgul when they arrived while the other hobbits legged it.

Fatty’s strength ability will be triggered only at sites 2 and 3, when it’s very unlikely to matter. Bleh. Confused I much prefer Farmer Maggot, Hobbit of the Marish.

That said, players who really don’t expect to see any dwellings or forests may find a use for him. And he’s nice fodder for Saved From the Fire. I’ll give him a 3.

And with Halfling Leaf, its a contest on how many unbound hobbits you can cram into your starting fellowship. And the cost of using Rosie Cotton is, well, steep.

For that reason, he’s awesome.
