Fantastic card! Elven Archery will probably choose other paths, but there are some pretty good non-unique Elves out there for archery players who do want to use Elven Armaments. An "Elvents" or similar skirmishing Elves deck will definitely want to use this.
And as AC mentioned, this totally wrecks Shadow archery decks... |

I’m not quite sure why that would be ’nearly broken’, but Elven Armaments does prevent possessions from being played on her... (and discards those on her already)
EDIT: Okay, slightly incorrect - it has to be the first possession on them. |
Our time here is ending...
What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome ). |

But, I’ve found my method:
Bilbo, Bearer of Things Burgled + Consorting with Wizards
Wraiths + Swept Away
Balglin, Elven Warrior + Elven Armaments (using Elf ally to play him)
Discarding Merry/Pippin + Shadowplay to keep a minion exerted (whoever faces Balglin
Sweet! Pippin, WoBaS would be even better with Shadowplay. Because he stays in your hand, not discarded. |

Well, the idea was just to use Merry or Pippin to get Shadowplay into play - once in play, Bilbo can be used for exertions exclusively (although it wouldn’t hurt)
As for who to use - Pippin, Hastiest of All can deal some damage, but actually Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver could work too... He can (and would be forced to) absorb archery wounds - then make sure he doesn’t get assigned to a skirmish and return him to your hand. If there’s roaming minions, it gets better... |

If the Elf is bearing Elven Armaments, then the Elf can’t bear any other possessions. |

Dont know what to think of this. I’m not even voting as i don’t know hwo good it is til i see it used. Elves skipping archery? Weird. But again ESCALATION. Making a shadow that plays archery skip it? Stupid. The meta is becoming who can guess what the opponent is playing so i can ruin his deck. You have to make decks now that focus on cancelling another. There are no "match ups" there are just those decks that stop other decks. |
