Um... amazing!!!
A targeted exertion is always nice, and this can shut down combos like Faramir + Steward’s Legacy. Or prevent Greenleaf from doing anything, or stop Lady of ithilien, etc. The possibilities are endless! And it works with any Grima, not just a  version, so it’s easy to package it in along with a useful Grima like Chief Counselor or Wormtongue.
This card gets a 5 from me. It is without a doubt my favorite and most balanced card from T&D! |

Nope, it wouldn’t, because it’s the maneuver ability of Faramir, Captain of Ithilien that allows him to exert in the first place. Unusable game text = no maneuver ability = no exertion.
Treachery is looking like a great card -- very powerful, but also very specific (must spot Grima) and appropriately expensive to play ( twilight during the Shadow phase). I also can’t wait for Deceit...  |
