Corsairs are back! And kicking! Imagine this card in a stragglers deck!

2 is a bit hefty, but for a (almost certainly if played right) strength +5 boost, I think its worth it.

Corsairs are still up to their old tokens. And hopefully, there will be more cards to pull this strategy all together. 5.

Yeah, it’s not earth-shattering, but a potential +5 strength for only 2 is nothing to sneeze at either. It takes a little patience to get there, but if you can get those tokens out quickly, you can inflict serious pain. 5.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

No way. Corsair Grappling Hook = Easy reinforcing = Easy strength +5 boost for 2. Or just give it to a Pirate Cutthroat with a Pavise. Twisted Evil

I give it a 4. It’s a nice card, but they really need a good card to stockpile more tokens on other than Howdah and Stragglers.

2 cost for a possession taht does nothing unless there is a condition with tokens on it. Takes 2 tokens for it to be as good as most 1 cost possessions. Condition removal is not uncommon in current meta either.

"Possible" is the key word there! Wink

This card has good potential, but is a little too reliant on the circumstances. It will be a poor draw in the early game, or against condition removal, or when you want to use your tokens for something else. Corsair Scimitar is worth its cost only when you can get +4 or +5 strength out of it, which is a bit too conditional for my taste.

Make it cost 1, or raise the strength ceiling, or maybe add a minor ability to the gametext, and I’d be all over this card. As it is, I’ll give it a low 4.
