I have a slightly silly challenge for anyone who wishes to participate (and it’s my first attempt at something like this, so be nice, and feel free to give me any comments for the future).
I was inspired by an article on the Magic the Gathering website that my brother showed me (I don’t play, but he does) about tricks for card design.
The challenge is this:
To design a card that reminds you of a hedgehog.
To start you off, I have made my own (feeble) attempt:
 Uruk Avenger 
Minion * Uruk-hai
Str: 7
Vit: 2
Sit: 5
Fierce.
To play, spot an minion.
Each time this minion loses a skirmish, you may exert the character it was skirmishing.
See, it’s a prickly, spiky Uruk! But I’m sure you can do a lot better.
The cards have to:
1) Be from any official culture
2) Be of any card type
3) Be balanced (I doubt I need to say this, but just in case...)
4) Use only official keywords
5) Be reminiscent of a hedgehog (obviously)
6) Be posted here before 0000 GMT on 13 May 2007
After the deadline, we’ll have a vote on which one reminds us most of a hedgehog, then the winner will receive 1  from each participant.

Definitely an interesting approach to a DC contest...
Does it have to be an animal, or would there be other stuff too for other challenges, like pianos and clouds? |

I have some others in mind, none of which are animals (unless you choose them to be....) 
All I can say is that I’m glad I’m not the only one who voted that I was crazy!

When you play this, you may add an token here for each Uruk-hai you can spot.
Skirmish: Remove two tokens here and spot an minion bearing a hand weapon to exert a companion skirmishing that minion.
The spears of the Uruk-hai were lined in impenetrable formations. |

Well I’m glad 2 people were up to my crazy challenge. I love both, but we’ll vote after the deadline.
