3 • Bard, Dragon-slayer Gandalf
Companion • Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 7
Archer.
When you play Bard (except in your starting fellowship), you may spot another Gandalf Man to reinforce a Gandalf token and draw a card.
Response: If another Gandalf Man is about to take a wound, exert Bard to prevent that wound (and exert a minion if that companion is an archer).
”’I am Bard, of the line of Girion; I am the slayer of the dragon!’”
R48

hmm, intresting

1 Sword of Laketown Gandalf
Possession • Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be a Gandalf Man.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may add a threat to exert a minion.
”…beside them came the men of the Lake with long swords.”

I think this guy is too complicated, I had to think too hard to work out what he did! I also think Dain has a point. I’d be tempted to make it reinforce a token only, and then take out the exception in your starting fellowship.

Balanced card, combos nicely with Dinendal, Mirkwood Archer. Thumbs Up

Good common. I’d put a couple of these into my current Gandalf men deck I have together. Smile

Thanks for the reviews, guys! Very Happy Today, you’ll see a couple of Gandalf followers. Tomorrow (or tonight if I get some quick reviews), I’ll put up Beorn and a few cards to work with him. Thumbs Up

2 • Archers of Lake-town Gandalf
Follower
Strength +1
Aid2.
To play, spot a Gandalf Man.
While bearer is a Gandalf Man, bearer is an archer.
”A hail of dark arrows leaped up….”
U50

2 • The Master, Lord of Lake-town Gandalf
Follower
Vitality +1
Resistance +1
Aid – Discard a Gandalf card from hand.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may draw a card or remove 1.
”As you see, the Master had not got his position for nothing.”

DEFINITELY NOT! Currently, the ability applies whether it’s transferred or in your support area! Make it ’If bearer is a Gandalf Man, bearer is an Archer,’ then it’s even more balanced because you can’t become an archer twice.

Alright. Not noticing anything fantastic with this card, but I guess you haven’t spoiled everything.

Maybe spot a Gandalf man to play, or this would be an easy strength +2 for any culture.

I’ll start off with Beorn, and after the kinks have been worked out, I’ll post a couple of cards to work with him. Thumbs Up

Strength: 10
Vitality: 4
