I’m going to give him a 2, because quite honestly I can’t see him fitting into any decks. Exertions on the RB won’t help you because the culture has nothing (AFAIK) that can benefit from them.

Provided your opponent lets you add the 2 threats and doesn’t exert their RB, this Troll would be a neat combo with Black Land Overlord and Black Gate Sentry. Remove the threats with the Overlord to exert a couple of companions, and then beat ’em up even more in the skirmish phase with the Sentry. |
I had to put something here. |

Wounds on the RB....interesting. I’ve never seen this in the culture, seems a bit out of place.
But how would this work? has no way of taking advantage of wounds on the Ring-bearer. But we still need to get our hands on more spoilers to learn more about it.

Im giving him 3 as hes not fierce or damage +1 and still costs 7. Possible 15 strength isnt that good. His game text is fairly cool. Meh. |

Yup that really sucks. If theyre not gonna use lore from the books/films (cos it aint in "") then they could write anything. Why choose 3 crap descriptions of various parts of it? Dumbasses. |

I’ve seen various responses to Orc decks not being able to use him, and I can think of two that could use him. ONe has been mentioned, he is a troll that can be used with Troll bomb. However, I tend to agree that not having fierce or damage + makes him less likely to appear in those decks. They are typically fairly tight as they are.
The second deck that no one has mentioned yet is Grishnaak Gorbag Hunter Discard. He would be a nice beef minion to use the extra twilight generated by the twilight adders. This type of deck swarms decently, and it discards alot of cards from deck. It suffers a bit from archery, so the threat adding ability is nice, even though it can be prevented. The option is at least there... |
